Bikes

I knocked about with Keith's eldest son Chris when we were teenagers. I lived about 3 miles away and used to walk to Chris's most days. When it came time to go home, I would always ask Keith if i could borrow a bike to ride home, always promising to brng it back the next day (only to borrow it back again to ride home). Over the last couple of months I seemed to bump into Ann & Keith in Asda everytime I shopped there. They always had a smile for me and we chatted about Chris and Jeremy. They are so proud of their kids and grandkids. I have very fond memories of Ann & Keith's hospitality to me when I used to visit them in Elmore (which was pretty much everyday). I remember rhe red video cassette holders next to the TV and thinking how cool it was that Chris had The Young Ones on VCR. I remember the organ on Keith's landing and Chris teaching me how to play a couple of thunes(chariots of fire if I remember and Axel F). Keith was a good man and with Ann he had a lovely wife. I'm sure I was a right pain back in the day, but still they always found time to say hello and stop for a chat over the last couple of months. I lost my Dad earlier this year in similar circumstances and I feel your loss. Keith you have a loving family who did you proud today and I thank you for putting up with me back then and I will remember you fondly.
